A new year, a new interface

What better way to start the new year with a brand new feature? We are very pleased to announce our brand new and improved interface in talkspirit.

The new interface is designed to simplify your day-to-day actions, allowing you to get work done, more productively than ever before. However, it doesn’t just end there, as the new interface made document management a hell of a lot easier. That being said, let’s dive into some details!

One-click publishing

Essentially, we simplified the way in which we share material with one another on a day-to-day basis. From now on, any type of information can instantly be shared – directly executable from the news feed.  

Let’s have a closer look on how that really works. The image below shows
the new display to basically share anything type of information. From
here, publications, events, documents, polls, galleries, and even
checklists can be shared with so much as the click of a button.

Let’s imagine for a second that we were to share a simple document with our fellow team members in a random group of our choosing. By simply clicking on the blue document icon, a new tab will be opened, dedicated for doing just that. Just like before, documents can be dragged and dropped, or can be directly uploaded from third-party services such as Dropbox and Google drive.

The exact same thing goes out for the earlier mentioned polls, galleries, and checklists, which are available on the right hand side of the new bar. Likewise, it will open a new tab, specifically dedicated for executing that specific action. All in all, this new way of working is a much more productive, and most of all easier approach to share material with one another.

Socializing Documents

From now on, each and every group has its very own dedicated space for every document that has been shared throughout its existence. Just above the bar we previously talked about, you’ll be able to find the ‘document tab’.

Here, all shared documents are clearly listed underneath one another. To keep the overview clear and coherent, there is the possibility to sort all documents based on the upload date, or even alphabetical order. Prior to any normal post, documents can be commented on, shared, and liked.

Last but not least, documents which are being shared through a normal post can easily be transferred to the document tab with one simple click.

User experience is paramount

According to the latest article published in ZDnet France: the two biggest reasons why many organizations fail to successfully integrate collaborative tools, is because of complicated interfaces and poor user experience. It is for these reasons that our interface and user experience is always at the centre of our attention. It is therefore no surprise that Lecko ranks talkspirit as one of the frontrunners in this particular field of expertise.

 

After all, we strongly believe that offering the best possible user experience is the key to a strong and robust platform. An essential key element required to realise our one true mission: to simplify the sharing of information and day-to-day collaboration within any team.
