Every quarter, GetApp publishes a comprehensive list that summarizes the best software in a particular industry, or ‘category’ if you will.
So how does it work exactly?
The category leaders are determined by five key factors that businesses should always look out for on the hunt for potential business software:

- Mobile compatibility
- Security
- The number of Facebook & Twitter fans
GetApp then ranks all the software vendors in a particular category, based on these five data points. Each vendor’s score is independent of commercial interests and existing relationships that GetApp has with app vendors.
